IT’S HERE!! The event of a century is just on the horizon and plans are taking us there fast. The hall is rented, the caterers are lined up, the music is ready and the registration form is linked below. And now we need YOU!

In the general information sheet below you can find dates and times; location and activities. Here are some highlights to look for:

This big celebration is a reunion of current and past Maple Leaf Band members. Their spouses are welcome too, as well as special dignitaries and some members of the public. There is, however, a limited number of spaces, especially for the Banquet. And you don’t have to be actively playing a band instrument or offer to sing to be let in. Just come and hang out with some old (and new) friends. This culminates in a Massed Band Concert Saturday night. Admission to the concert is open to everyone. A silver collection or other donation is suggested for this main event.

And right now we still need your help. Please spread the word about this upcoming Reunion. Contact any former members and friends of the Band that you know. And if you have information or clues for finding former members hold onto that until we announce that we are ready to complete our mailing list. Don’t forget to put aside some vacation time for the Reunion and be sure to book a hotel early. If you are not playing regularly now, then this would be a great time to dust off the horn and polish up some of those rusty skills.

So look over the registration pages asap, select what meals and activities you want to do. There is one set of sign-up sheets per attendee. Send us a cheque for the total amount to reserve your spot. Music will be sent out once the registration is received.

Note that the Registration form package has 3 pages: the general information sheet shown below, and 2 forms to print out, complete and send to us by regular mail with your cheque. They are linked to this page.

Displays:

We will be having displays of a Band-related nature. If there is something you would like to have displayed at the Reunion please contact us about it first, letting us know what it is so that we can figure out how much space is needed to display it or if it duplicates items that we already have for display. Once you contact us we will let you know the best way to proceed.

**Under no circumstances should you send materials without contacting us first.

Registration:

There are two parts to the registration form; the first sheet is for attending the Reunion and the other deals with Concert preparations. (Two sheets are needed as they go to two different sub-committees.)

Important Note:

The Reunion will be recorded in both audio & video formats. We require your release as indicated on each of the registration sheets; one covers visuals (pictures, etc.); the other covers the performances.

REMINDER: You DO NOT have to perform in the Massed Band Concert to attend this Reunion. While there is the opportunity to play or sing in the rehearsals and concert, you can attend just for the sake of renewing old acquaintances. (For the non-performing attendees we are working to have other activities for you to do. Please check our Website for more information as it becomes available.)

Please continue on to the Registration Form. Print out both sheets, fill them in as appropriate, and send them along with your payment to the address found on the sheets. (Do not send cash.)
